NY Jets Rank No. 3 in Talent Under 25, according to ESPN

Dean Britton, a real estate professional in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, serves as a principal at AIA in New York City. Outside of this role, Dean Britton is a fan of the New York Jets.

The Jets finished their preseason with a 3-0 record, their last game a win against the Giants. In August 2022, ESPN ranked the Jets No. 3 in talented players younger than 25. Factors that figured into the ranking were the number of players under 25 starts/snaps, the draft value of returning players, and how well the players performed.

The football team itself cites 2022 first- and second-draft selections Sauce Gardner (cornerback), Garrett Wilson (wide receiver), Jermaine Johnson (pass-rusher), and Breece Hall (running back). According to the press release announcing the results, Gardner and Johnson are expected to fill gaps in the team. Gardner was also on a list of the team’s top players that included Zach Wilson, Alijah Vera-Tucker, G. Wilson, and John Franklin-Myers.
